As the design lead I was tasked with designing a micro-site for the NFL's 100th season. I worked with other designers along with executive stakeholders to come up with an end-to-end user experience, that included unique branding, contests, and immersive content. The result was a vivid, interactive user experience, full of history, that won 2 Sports Emmy Awards.

As design lead, I was tasked with improving the user experience journey for subscriptions and creating a new look for NFL Game Pass platforms. I collaborated with Product Managers and executive stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure the designs met product expectations. This resulted in a more user friendly, visually appealing, product and a very happy client, as the user base increased by 37% and subscription transactions increased by 17%.

As the visual design lead and team “sports expert”, my role was to create a visual user experience that set itself apart from the usual Roku UI. Once the new visual experience was agreed upon, I collaborated with Product Managers and the UX research team to ensure that the new product had a unique look and feel, but still felt like a "Roku product". During the development phase, I worked closely with the engineering team to ensure the end users got the full experience. This resulted in a successful launch that was widely covered and praised by many media outlets and was ultimately nominated for 'Best New Platform' at the SportsPro OTT Awards.

As the lead UX designer on this project, my team and I were tasked with the complete redesign of the former FOX Sports Regional Sports Networks. On a daily basis as client liaison, I worked to bridge the gaps between the client (Sinclair Broadcasting Group) and the development team. I managed a team of 3 designers, working as both and individual contributor and a project manager for the designers. Throughout the project we designed the site from the ground up, executing various client-requested design explorations along the way. The result was a personalized experience for the end user on TV, mobile and web platforms.

As the design lead for this project, I was tasked with the end-to-end UX design for the Badminton World Federation's new fan app. As a one-man design team, I worked closely with client stakeholders to create a robust product complete with unique branding, data visualizations, and media. The result was a user friendly product that brought all the action of the BWF to their fans.

Web Redesign

A "Cinematic Experience" for the FandangoNOW web experience. This project served as a use case in which the most relevant content would be curated. The intention was for users to see the featured content, instead of having to search through hundreds of movie posters. Starting with the navigation, the page was sectioned into detailed buckets so the user could navigate the site more clearly and intuitively.

A simpler user experience, combined with a more streamlined design, was the approach for this project. The TV app integrates seamlessly onto any smart TV, giving the user control over their viewing experience.

A new native app experience, which combined an expanded user experience with an updated visual interface. The project called for a more robust app experience that was adapted from a library hub into a full browsing experience that included all of FandangoNOW’s inventory.

Web Redesign

This was a personal project I took on just for fun. I wanted to take a site that already existed and turn it into a robust e-commerce site - one that told a story. My idea was that each product, in their line, had a special story behind it. This would help inform the customer about not only the quality of the product, but the craftsmanship and history behind it.

Funimation was a personal exercise in quick, efficient delivery. The company didn't have any design roles open, but upon reviewing their main landing page, I felt they could use improvements to the overall design. I challenged myself to come up with something that was an improvement both visually and from a usability standpoint. While this exercise didn't generate a new role for myself, the company agreed that what I presented was a more polished and enhanced version of the current state of their website.
