The Computer Science Department follows the National Educational Technology Standards for Students

Technology Foundation Standards for all Students:
A) Basic operations and concepts
i) Students demonstrate a sound understanding of the nature and operation of technology systems.
ii) Students are proficient in the use of technology.
B) Social, ethical, and human issues
i) Students understand the ethical, cultural, and social issues related to technology.
ii) Students practice responsible use of technology systems, information, and software.
iii) Students develop positive attitudes toward technology uses that support lifelong learning, collaboration, personal pursuits, and productivity.
C) Technology productivity tools
i) Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity.
ii) Students use productivity tools to collaborate in constructing technology-enhanced models, prepare publications, and produce other creative works. [next page]
