1) What percent of Catholics enroll in your school?
95% of our students are Catholic. During the admission process, St.
John Bosco seeks to serve the Catholic community first when accepting
students.
2) Do you track students or do you offer just
a college prep program?
St. John Bosco High School encourages and provides its students with
the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school. Each
student is counseled into specific academic classes based upon placement
examination results, previous academic performance, teacher recommendation
and a personal interview. All academic programs prepare the student
for entrance into either a junior college or college/university.
3) What does it cost for a student to attend
St. John Bosco High School?
For the current year (2003-04), the registration fee is $400.00 and
the annual tuition with service hours is $4,884.00. The school also
has a “Family Fundraising Contribution” of $300.00. Since
this is in the form of an annual raffle, families may either sell their
tickets to others or keep them as their contribution to the school.
Finally, there is a magazine drive with each student being responsible
for selling $100.00 worth of subscriptions. [next
