Dear Bosco Families,
The work of St. John Bosco is not
for the lazy or the faint of heart. Don Bosco was known as a hard worker
who often jumped into projects without knowing where all the funds were
to come from. He had faith in a God of Providence who would miraculously
make available the resources Don Bosco needed. The Lord always came
through due to virtuous and generous people who believed in the good
that Don Bosco did and wanted to see it grow.
I believe Don Bosco himself would be proud of our school. Very humbly
yet resolutely, we endeavor to accompany young people on their journey
to heaven. We work hard to educate our boys to become good citizens
of this world and the next. Yet we cannot accomplish this task without
your help. The income we receive from tuition does not come near what
it costs to run the school. Without the support of people like you,
we would find it impossible to carry on. Would you please help us with
your generosity? In this way you will be making this ministry of St.
John Bosco for young people a part of your life. Your extra dollars
will allow us to make ends meet and provide the resources we need to
educate our boys with distinction and care.
Please, keep us in
your prayers – that Mary, Help of Christians will protect and
guide our boys and lead them to her Son. And may the Good Lord bless
you with his peace.
Your Servant in Christ,
Michael Alvarez
