Board of Activities Big Brother Program A growing component of the Youth Ministry Program at St. John Bosco High School is the Big Brother Program. This program has been distinguished as an intricate element on campus and prides itself in creating a more welcoming and unifying atmosphere. Distinguished leaders among the junior and senior classes are called upon to serve as “Big Brothers”, ministering to freshmen students, or “little brothers”. “Brothers” meet numerous times through the year, including the first day of school and other important days such as the freshmen retreat. This program fosters school pride and creates a sense of brotherhood, handing down traditions of our one Brave family. From helping students get aquatinted with the campus, to being there if someone is having trouble in their faith, the Big Brother Program hopes to introduce new students to the legacy of the Bosco heritage. |
