Dear Friend of St. John Bosco,

Welcome to our school web-site. When Don Bosco was alive, he took advantage of the media of his day to spread the Gospel message into the minds and hearts of as many people as possible. So as you peruse and browse around the articles and pictures, be sure to keep in mind that our primary educational endeavor here at Bosco is one of developing good citizens for this world and the next.

The St. John Bosco High School community has chosen as its theme for this school year “ONE BRAVE FAMILY --- ONE BOLD COMMITMENT” and one can find those words all over the campus. But we know that this challenge has to be more than mere words. To be part of a family requires a commitment. It is not easy. This past summer my wife and I endured a family vacation, driving up to Spokane with our children – three days north, four days there, and three days back south. And, as many of you know, family vacations can be rewarding yet irritating; fun yet burdensome; relaxing yet stressful – but always memorable. [next page]
