The diversity of offerings in extra curricular activities at St. John Bosco High School allows each student the opportunity to develop the “whole person”. Clubs stimulate the individual intellectually, spiritually, morally, socially, culturally, artistically and physically in a non-academic setting. Offerings such as The Spanish club promote multi-cultural awareness which is a crucial part of the Southern California community. CSF and NHS exist to both challenge and recognize the higher achieving students.

Activity clubs such as The Fitness Club, Rocketry Club, and Games Club aid in the physical development of the students and allow for recreational enjoyment. Activities such as ASB sponsored elections, and school dances encourage a cultural, social and moral evolution among St. John Bosco High School students. Our student body elections are a microcosm of the larger society, giving students a foundation of the life skills necessary to be an active participant in the decision making process of our country. The elected student officials are at the forefront of all student activities and they successfully operate in a highly visible arena.

School rallies offer student involvement which encourages recreation and raises the level of school spirit and pride. School sponsored dances present a social arena for interaction with members of the opposite sex. St. John Bosco students acquire necessary skills that help foster respect for and develop communication with young women. The resurgence of the intramural program has provided an opportunity for students to participate in a playground-like environment while playing flag football and basketball
