Academic Improvement Program 2003 Purpose:
The Academic Improvement Program was initiated to help students who
are struggling with the academic requirements at St. John Bosco High
School. It is a time for students to work on homework assignments and/or
study. It is available only for students on the Academic Ineligible
list published by the Guidance Office after each quarter or semester
grading period.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7th period for 1 hour
or 2:45-3:45 (15 minutes after the end of school for 1 hour)
Staff: There will be at least one instructor present for the entire
time to administer the program (attendance, discipline, tutoring, etc.).
Peer tutors (NHS/CSF members) will be available. Special instructors
(Math, English, Foreign language, Science, etc.) will come in on certain
days (to be announced) as determined by student needs.
