World Languages

The SJB World Language Department offers a full 4 year program in both Spanish and French, including AP courses.

Philosophy
The SJB World Language Department facilitates student development of
• Communicative skills in the second language (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
• A deeper understanding of American languages and cultures through comparison to other languages and cultures
• Appreciation of the diverse cultures with connections to the second language
