Offers ninth graders a comprehensive overview of Catholicism and serves as a foundation for all the other religion courses and faith formation experiences they will have during their years at St. John Bosco High School. The course does not assume that its students have a Catholic-Christian background or a Catholic committed faith, but endeavors to bring young people to a deeper appreciation of Catholic beliefs, rituals, moral vision, and prayer life at this moment in their young lives. It is the foundational course for their study of the Catholic faith during high school. [Two Semesters] (Prereq: None.)
