Allows the student to experience music from different historical eras as well as different areas of the world. Through listening, readings and class discussions students will be gaining the knowledge through which personal preferences can be intelligently discussed. Basic knowledge of notation, terminology and rhythms will also be explored thus providing the student a closer link with the performers. [One Semester] (Prereq: None)
