Focuses primarily on the historical and critical aspects of the world of art. Through writings of artists and others he will come to an understanding of art in the world and its necessity to a culture. He will explore imagination, creativity, originality, artistic self-expression, and the role of art in an historical context. (Prereq: Refer to "Advanced Placement Policy.)
