ATHLETICS
St. John Bosco is a member of the Serra League (Santa Margarita, Loyola,
Bishop Amat,
Mater Dei, Servite, and St. John Bosco) in football,cross country, basketball,
soccer, baseball, golf, tennis, track, wrestling, volleyball, water
polo and swimming, participating in all CIF sports except diving.
CURRICULUM
Each Student is counseled into a specific academic program based upon
placement examination results, previous academic performance, teacher
recommendation and a personal interview. All academic programs prepare
the student for entrance into either junior college or college/university.
St. John Bosco High School encourages and provides its students with
the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school.
ADMISSION POLICY
St. John Bosco High School is a Catholic, all boys high school whose
philosophy and mission is based on the call of the United States Catholic
Bishops, "To Teach as Jesus Did." Admission to St. John Bosco
High School is open to all boys who have successfully completed the
eighth grade in good standing. [next
