APPLICANTS
Ninth grade applicants:
1. Take the placement examination in January of the year applying.
2. Submit transcripts of work completed in the seventh and eighth grades.
3. Submit a Bosco recommendation form completed by the present principal
and eighth grade teacher(s).
St. John Bosco's philosophy is to admit approximately 70% of the qualified
applicants for a college prep program. The remaining 30% is for those
students who do not immediately qualify for the college prep program.
Upper division student information is available upon request.
Transfer students:
St. John Bosco High School has established open enrollment policies
in concert with theCalifornia Interscholastic Federation State Federated
State Rule 222 with the following conditions:
1. Accepts students on a space available basis.
2. Charges tuition for its educational services.
3. Has admissions requirements pertaining to academic standards and
behavior.
